BluesNite Benefit - June 2008

Chris
   Cain @ Bluesnite

Our Benefit concert for BluesNite at The Hill Theater in Paulsboro New Jersey on 10 May 2008 was amazing!! Lenny, Annie and Bluesnite want to thank all the great performers, everyone who helped with flyers, tickets, set-up, the door, promotion, the food and drinks, cameras, lights, and sound, Merion Advertising, Johnny Meister & WXPN, Sam's BBQ of Sewell New Jersey and anyone we missed. The Fabulous Chris Cain headlined and was worth waiting for. Other hot artists included: OddBall Out (John & Paulie Norvilla's Band) who started the show with a bang. Then the Scoville Blues Band did their thing. Karin Lundin & Dez's Thin Ice Band with Thomas Nixon & Kevin Massey followed with a hot set. Georgie Bonds got the crowd going after Karin & Dez. Then the soulful CC Bronson performed backed by The Allstar BluesNIte Band. Chris Cain went last and boy was he awesome. Harry Jacobson from the Bluesnite Allstars sat in with Chris too. We will be getting more photos and video soon. Check back!

Georgie Bonds Benefit - September 2007

Georgie Bonds

Our biggest event in 2007 - The Georgie Bonds Benefit - was held on September 23rd!

We want to thank everyone who supported the Georgie Bonds benefit at Taylor's Olde Mill in Norristown. Special thanks to all the performers who jammed for Georgie. And special thanks to the extended BluesNite staff/family: Deb Callahan, Karin Lundin, my wife Annie, my son John and his girlfriend Arlena, my son Paul and his girlfriend Melissa, and of course Georgie Bonds.

As you know, BluesNite producer Lenny Norvilla put on the benefit to help with Georgie's recent medical expenses. The show was a success with performances by Randy Lippincott, Mikey Jr., Deb Callahan, George Taylor, The Scoville Blues band and Taylor's House Band players including Brian McLean on guitar, Ed Young on bass, Bud on drums, Harry Jacobson on guitar and many more cool musicians from Norristown and beyond!
